ITP Development specialises in the development of town-scale solar farms around regional Australia. Individual projects are in the range of 5MW to 20MW (some with battery back-up), and are connected to the local distribution network. The scale of each project is designed to match the local community demand for electricity so the energy generated is used locally.
It currently has over twenty projects in the pipeline, and has a deep understanding of solar farm investor requirements and project feasibility processes.
ITP is the preeminent renewable energy engineering consultancy in the Australia and Pacific region, with a long history providing strategic roadmaps and engineering advice to deliver village and town-scale electrification of micro and mini-grids in remote areas of Australia and for Pacific island nations. Working with utilities, communities and governments to integrate renewable energy into diesel and main grids has remained a key focus for over 35 years.
We were established in 2003 and operate out of offices in Canberra (Head Office), Sydney, North Coast NSW, Adelaide and Auckland, New Zealand. We are part of the international ITPEnergised Group, one of the world’s largest, most experienced and respected specialist engineering consultancies focussing on renewable energy, energy efficiency, and carbon markets. The Group has undertaken over 2,000 contracts in energy projects encompassing over 150 countries since it was formed in 1981.
